BR 450 C-EF Petrol Backpack Blower: Powerful, professional blower with Electrostart (F)

High performance backpack blower with ElectroStart for simple restarting of the blower via the control handle. Thanks to ElectroStart technology the BR 450 C-EF back pack blower doesn’t need to be removed from the operators back to re-start, saving time and effort. Another Benefit is fuel saving is that the tool can be easily switched off and re-started when not in use. The BR 450 C-EF also features a pull start with STIHL ErgoStart for starting at temperatures below 0° C. To suit a range of users and applications the blower tube length and handle position can be quickly adjusted without tools.

The BR 450 C-EF must be started via the pull cord when the tool is cold and has been stored for a while. Once warm, the BR 450 C-EF can then be restarted via the ElectroStart button on the control handle. The ElectroStart function will not be operational when below 0°C and a manual start procedure is required.

Features:

ANTI VIBRATION SYSTEM: FOR MORE PLEASANT WORK. Vibrations can occur when you put your tools through their paces, and these are particularly noticeable in the grip area. The buffer and spring elements of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle area and therefore to your body. The result is that your tool is more comfortable to hold and your work is much less tiring.

SINGLE HANDED MULTI FUNCTION HANDLE: COMFORTABLE OPERATION. Thanks to the single-handed multi-function handle, you can control your tool easily and reliably with one hand. Because all relevant control elements are integrated in the handle, it can be operated by both right-handed and left-handed users.

ADJUSTABLE BLOWING TUBE The blowing tube can be easily adjusted, without tools, to suit individual body sizes or individual cleaning task. This allows for optimum blowing force and control at all times.

ERGOSTART: EFFORTLESS STARTING. STIHL ErgoStart saves you energy when starting your tools. A smooth and even pull on the starter cord is all that’s needed. The required speed on the starter cord is significantly reduced, and the engine starts quickly and reliably even with a slow pull. An additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord roll makes this easier.

ELECTRIC START: FOR SIMPLIFIED WARM STARTING. With STIHL ElectroStart, your tool can be restarted quickly and easily after a work break, without you having to take it off your back. The engine restarts at the press of a button. The lithium-ion battery required for starting is automatically charged while in operation. This means that your tool is always ready for use.
